Welcome

Welcome to the Priory Press Ltd website. We are a small press based on the Isle of Man.

If you want to help support independent, non celebrity, non ghost written, good quality fiction by both writers old and new, go to your delightful local independent bookseller and ask for a Priory Press Book from the list on this website or failing that just send us a cheque.

If you belong to a book club anywhere in the UK, or run a library, a bookshop or a class and you want any of our friendly and experienced authors to come and give a talk about their latest book, the creative writing process or even how to publish (and unfortunately you'd get me!), sign copies of their books and generally put a smile on peoples faces, contact me Linda Mann and I'll see what we can do.

I hope you enjoy browsing this website, take a look at our books currently in print and helpful notes for writers and recommended books for readers on our News items

If you enjoyed reading any of the books we publish and would like to write a reveiw to go on this website please get in touch.

Linda Mann

Sorry we do not publish poetry in any form.

Book Reviews: A Tail for All Seasons: If you're looking for a great stocking filler this Christmas - or simply enjoy a great read - then a new book 'A Tail for All Seasons' should fit the bill perfectly From December edition Manx Tails

The new anthology of short stories has been collected and this year we have included ones by winners of the Olive Lamming. There is also a little extra in the shape of the Islands junior CWA winner, a name to watch out for on the book shelves in years to come.

Details of the authors and a little taster of each will be included in our news page over the next week or so and advance orders can be taken from the end of this month for delivery on the launch/publication date Friday 19th November 2010.

Incidentally if anyone would like an invite to the launch at the Erin Arts Centre please don't hesitate to contact me. The invite is free and the evening is always fun with Bob Harrison acting as MC and readings from each story read by Manx Radio presenters and other thespian luminaries, refreshments - wines and soft drinks plus a chance to buy a copy signed by all of the authors. A Tail for All Seasons volume 3 is better, creepier and a great gift for Christmas.
